- The Pilot depicts the town as being in a hilly region, while in the regular series, the town is situated on what appears to be a series of man-made islands, as revealed in “Hurricane Chata”.
- Their baseball team is the Monte Macabre Piggybacks.
- The location and part of the town is inspired by what was the Great Tenochtitlán (capital city of the Mexicas) located in the current Hystorical Downtown of Mexico City.
