The Mega Mime (as Don Jalapeno calls it, pronounce mee-may) is a more different variation of the Tzitzimime "Teenie Mimis". Unlike the standard version, it is able to walk around in the day, and does not always display the signature starry eyes of most mimes.
It has many human disguises, including several familes in Monte Macabre. It's unclear in all three seasons who was actually themself and who was Mega Mimi in disguise.
Her most notable disguise seems to have no human counterpart, indicating every appearance was the Mega Mimi's impersonation.
Body[]
She is a large, skeletal monster with eyes on her wrists, elbows, knees, and ankles, protrusions on her back that resemble insect legs, a snake for a tail, and large butterfly wings.
The starry eyes are normally hidden by human disguises but appear to bleed through in emotional outbursts.
Clothes[]
She wears a brown mask connected to a large headdress with hands, circular earrings with red and white fringe, and a white, single-piece dress with red bands and a heart in the center.
Personality[]
She seems to be sensitive about her true form, almost to the point of shame. When she realized that Victor and Valentino saw her take off her human disguise, she tried to hide her face before fleeing into the sky. When Valentino commented on her actual self in a negative way, she grew upset and attacked him in a fit of rage. She may be afraid that Valentino only loves her as a human, and would never love her as a monster.
History[]
In Starry Eyes, when Valentino kept openly commenting on how repulsive the monster was to Isabella, she grew into a monster until she finally revealed her true form. She attempted to carry Valentino off to the moon, but Victor, Don, and Xochi stopped her. After a short scuffle, Valentino questioned the monster about the "real" Isabella. The monster told him that she was the "real" Isabella, to which Valentino continued to deny. Feeling heartbroken and betrayed, Isabella fled into the sky towards the moon, leaving Valentino calling out to her in desperation.
Inspiration[]
Her appearance seems to blend that of the deity Tzitzimitl with Itzpapalotl, the Queen of the Tzitzimimeh, a striking skeletal warrior goddess who ruled over the paradise world of Tamoanchan, the paradise of victims of infant mortality and the place identified as where humans were created.
Itzapapotl is a clearer inspiration for Isabella's name, while Tzitzimitl is a clearer inspiration for her species, the Ttitzimimi
