The movie begins a recap of the last episode,

- right where Chata, Sal, Victor and Valentino are at their house, where they met up Xochi and Don in which they are shock too see Chata's true form( Which Don whose even more shock)

-Inside, they meet up with Huitzi(in his God form) Which shocks both of Victor and Valentino. There Chata explain how he and her first met and how they started a family and how they build Monte Macabre with the other Aztec Gods and she also explained about Xochi's mother and when Tez betrays them.

-Chata explained that Victor, Valentino, Xochi, Charlene and Pineapple are Demigods since they are bloodline to their God relatives, which surprises them. Xochi was impress after she realize for being a Demigod. Then Sal also explained that they each have their own arcana. Victor was amazed and hyped to be a Demigod and Valentino was fascinated.

-Then Valentino realizes that there is a piece of paper in his pocket, and when he opens it he finds it's from Isabella. It was written that her Mother 'Coyolxauqui' has recover and plans to conquer Monte Macabre and she also reveal the prophecy that her mother foresee, which worried everyone. Then Valentino read the rest as a heart felting apology of betraying them and how it guilted her ever since.

-At Dawn, the boys among with their friends help clean up the mess of Monte Macabre aftermath. Xochi use her plant power to carry the heavy rubble which surprises everyone(including Amabel whose most impressive) Xochi and Amabel notices that Valentino was heart sorting after he read Isabella's apology. Amabel gave him a confront talk as Valentino feels better.

-Then suddenly, it became night time instantly as it surprise and then The Tzitimimes began taking possessing people, one tried on Amabel but Xochi is able to defend her by punching its and carry Amabel which she was happy. But then Vic and Val realizes that Chata's house is cover by a shield and Val urgently everyone who were not possess to get inside their house. Some manages to made it, while some didn't make it.

-Inside, Victor and Valentino and their friends were catching their breathes as Chata explained that it's Coyolxauqui is behind it and began her plans. Vic ask to take care of her, but Chata said it's not her fight, and she explained that it's Victor and Valentino's fight. But then Huitizi informs Chata that the Tzitimimes are managing to break through the defensive as they about enter the houses. Charlene unlocked her 'Arcana' drives the Tzitimimes off as the rest evacuated.

-As everyone were running towards Don's store, Pineapple manages unlock his 'Arcana' temporally moment as he creates Obsidian armor and fights off the Tzitimimes. Makes Victor Jealous of him and Charlene, once inside Xochi covers it up with vines and thorns. Inside, Amabel was starting to have a conversation with Xochi and it grows into romance( With Don, Valentino and Charlene watch them)

-Valentino notices that Victor was acting straight, Victor was trying to 'unlock' his Arcana by doing gestures only for him to fart once. Valentino show Don the written Prophecy and it turns out that Don has the same prophecy in his Codex book and he explained that Coyolxauqui will return one day to take over Monte Macabre. But she would be stop by two brothers who will defend for their home,

-Don explained that they need to get a Gem from a temple; which it can help them to defeat Coyolxauqui. He show a drawing of the Gem, which Vic and Val recognize it from their sleepover camp (Episode: Starry Night) Xochi volunteer to go get despite Don's Object as well Amabel. But then Huitizi said that he'll be with her. And the two left as they sneak through the forrest til they reach the table.

-Val took a rest nap as Vic attempts try to unlock his Arcana and Charlene watch him in amusement, Inside Val's mind, he was dreaming of him sitting nexts to Isabella who was smiling and everything was seems okay but then Isabella started to dissolves as she look at him in tears. With her saying, "I love you....valentino..." Then suddenly he was grab by Coyolxauqui and says to him that he will never win and told him to give up. Val quickly woke up after Amabel wake up. Val explains his dream to Amabel and he explained that he knowns that Isabella might be alive. Then Xochi came back after getting the gem, and she look almost injury as a worried Amabel and Don came over to her to aid, Xochi explain that she manages to get the Gem but Huitizi was capture by the Tzitimimes after he sacrifice himself for Xochi to escape.

- Huitizi was taken to Coyolxauqui as she gloats him to be too weak to be capture, but then he remarks by mention that she too was weak for him and their mother to defeat her. Angrily, she orders her children to hold him til she's doing something.

-Don examine the Gem and he figures out that it's a Gem to grant the Demigod to their 'Calamity' form and unlock their Arcana. Vic want to try it, but Don said that he doesn't know to do it. But before Vic can even ask more question, the Tzitimimes breaks through Xochi's thorn barrier as they were about to get the Gem Val manages to unlock his Arcana which Water Control. He fires water from pipes (much to Don's despise) but it only pushing some of them. Victor saw that some of them were about to grab him. He unlock his Arcana and fires bolts of lighting at them; which he was awe and happy to see it.

-Then suddenly Chata came to the rescue and summon a storm to drive them off as they left. Chata informs Vic and Val that they have to get ready to fight Coyolxauqui, but Val told her how can they do it. Before she can even say anything, the Tzitmimes grab her as they drag her. But before they disappear, she say to trust each other. After they were gone, Vic and Val were devastated that Monte Macabre is no where to be safe, but then Vic and Val receive help from Mic and Hun whose are visible to everyone arrive go their aids. They told Vic and Val that everything in the Underworld is unbalanceable, they say that they can help with putting the remaining citizens of Monte Macabre in their mansion.

-When they arrive at the mansion, they meet up with their old friends Cristina and her family and the lords of Ghost Town. Vic and Cristina are greeted with each other as Charlene became jealous, she told Vic and Val about knowing them to be Demigods. Val ask how, then two voices caught their attention it revealed to be Xiabaibia(Ruler of the land of Forgotten) and La Muerte (Ruler of The Land of dead) They explained about the Gem and which they reveal to be the creators of it. They create it after receive the Prophecy at the same time where Tez betray the other Gods, they tell them that they can unlock their 'Calamity' forms if they are willigy fight for their home. They all agree as Xibalba and La Muerte were about to use their powers to active the Gem,

-Where Coyolxauqui is dealing with Chata, Sal, Huitizi, and Tez. She sense a great magical force that made her realize, as well the others as they smile.

-Back at the Underworld mansion, Everyone watch in amazement as Vic, Val, Xochi, Pineapple, and Charlene transform into their Calamity forms such as God-like forms with wearing ancient Aztec Attires, the five were amaze by their clothing. Amabel was admiring Xochi's Attire as she also complained which makes Xochi Blushed. The rest of the Demi-Gods are admiring their attire dressing of ancient Aztec, then La Muerte tells them to go for Monte Macabre and save it. The five nod as they were teleport back to Monte Macabre.

-Back at Monte Macabre, the townspeople were trying hide from the Tzitmimes who are still roaming for body to possess. One of them is Xochi's band members and they were spotted by some Tzitmimes as they charges toward them, but then they defend off by Vic and Val and the others as they fight back against the Tzitmimes and the ones who were possess the citizens. There the battle of Monte Macabre begins.

-Xochi begins to restraining the possess citizens, Val and Pineapple began push the Tzitmimes back away from the citizens and Vic and Charlene use their arcana to fight back against them. Everything started to go great but one of them stops the fighting, and the Tzitmimes told them that they have their God relatives in their custody and Coyolxauqui wants them to face her in person. They open a gateway, Xochi doesn't like of facing Coyolxauqui head on, but Vic and Val convince her to join them, she finally agrees to come as they enter the gateway.

-When they got out of the gateway, they were in front of the temple of Coyolxauqui and they were surprises as they enter the temple. They past through the halls which shows a mural of the past which Chata explain to them early.Then they arrive at the main room center of the Temple. The room was large surround by a lake fill with negative energy, then they find Chata, Sal, Tez, and Huitizi all tied up in the ceiling. Then they were greeted by Coyolxauqui who appears out of nowhere which they were shock to see.

-Meanwhile back Mic and Hun Mansion, Amabel was concern about Xochi as Don came to her. Don stated that Xochi was a strong women like her mother and then Amabel tells Don about something that She wanted to ask Mirabel at the end of the summer. Don listened as she pulls out a little box; in which don was surprises.

-Back at the Temple, the gang was shock to face Coyolxauqui was Vic ask if she's Isabela mother. Coyolxauqui replies that she's the ruler of Monte Macabre and then Vic shoots multiple Lighting bolts at her as she easily repel them back at Vic and Val which they dodge and then they began battling Coyolxauqui. Xochi attends to grab her arms and legs with her vines but she easily breaks them as she commented that she should suppose to be stronger like her mother; which surprise Xochi. Vic and Val attend to attack from the behind, but then she use magic trap them around in chain as she does the same to Xochi, Charlene and Pineapple. Coyolxauqui order her Tzitmimes to hold them as they began to restrain them. But she grab Valentino and started mock him for forgiving Isabela even though she deceive them in the past, in which he commented that she's a 'Terrible Horrible Mother' She replies that she doesn't have any feeling for Isabela, except for her betrayal. Then she drops him in the negative lake as Vic, Xochi, Chata, Charlene, Sal and Pineapple watch in horror and dismay as Val dies in the Lake. Vic angrily grief shouted at Coyolxauqui for killing his brother, Tzitmimes laugh crazy as Coyolxuaqui scoffed.

-Meanwhile back at Mic and Hun mansion, Cristina told Rosa and the others of how she and her family died, stating that they were on their way home they met up with a Hitchhiker who was needing for a ride. Which her parents are agreeing to help him, but on the way the hitchhiker reveal to be possess by a Tzitimime and he force them to drive over a cliff and that's how they died and Paco reveal that a Tztimimes kill his crew and girlfriend by lighting a fuel tank on fire and it blew up.

-Back at the Temple, Chata was grieving over Val's death as Coyolxauqui grab Xochi and then she reveal the truth about her mother's death. Right after she gave birth to Xochi, she was being attack by Tzitmimes and she only use her weaking body as a shield to protect Xochi from harm. Xochi tearfully angrily that she won't forgive her for doing that, but Coyolxauqui stated that she doesn't care as she held Xochi at the Lake while saying sharing the same fate as Val. But before she can even drop her, something hit at Coyolxauqui's left shoulder and it cause it to sever. She scream in pain as she check what hit her and it turns out to be a water spear and it surprises her that she lets go of vic, Charlene and Pineapple and Xochi. She want to know who threw that water spear, they turn to see, it was Valentino!! Coyolxauqui was shock and dismay knowing that Val couldn't have survive; only Val say that he didn't but she did. They look at the lake and see 'Val' coming out of it and landed next to Xochi, Vic and Charlene and Pineapple; in which they both were surprises as well. Val say that 'Enemies aren't always what they seem to be' Then the 'Val' rips apart his skins and reveal to be Isabela except she has the same appearance like Coyolauqui except their skins and attire are different.

-FLASHBACK: After Vic, Val, Charlene and Pineapple and Xochi unlock their Calamity powers the Gem did something else. Val went over without anyone knowing, outside he finds a shooting star was heading towards him in which he dodges. Once he founds out that the Star is starting to changes into Isabella and it shocks her when she woke up. But when she and Val first saw each other, they tearfully hug each other in reunion.

-Val explained that the Gem's magic was able to resurrect Isabela and changes her looks. He also explained that he had Isabela to take his place as he was of need of practice to perfect his 'Water-ability' and Isabela use her newly ability to disguise as Valentino as she and rest went to fight Coyolauqui as Valentino stay behind to practice. Xochi, Victor, Charlene and Pineapple were surprises, but not Coyolxauqui who reattached her arm and angrily commend the Tizitmimes to get them.

-Isabela told Val and the others to deal with the Tizitmimes while she handled her mother and they all agree as they face off into battle. Victor and Valentino work together as they use a combination attack of water and lighting. Charlene and Pineapple does the same thing as they use a light spell and Obsidian mirrors to shred light at the Tizitmimes. Isabela was fighting against her own mother as Coyolxuaqui berate for betraying her own family, Isabela replies that. everyone in Monte Macabre is her true family as she also calls her a 'Terrible Horrible Mother' which anger Coyolxauqui.

-The battle continues raging on until Xochi started to feel exhausted, then she realizes that her Calamity power is about to disappear as well to Victor, Valentino, Charlene and Pineapple. Coyolxauqui remarks that everyone that she care for, are gonna suffer the consequence. But Isabela refused to let that happen as she come up with an idea when she looked down at the lake. She told the four to use every ounce of their Calamity Power to make the lake into positive energy.

-The four use their strength to blast at the lake as it turns into positive energy, Coyolxauqui notices and attends to throw Isabela in it but instead Isabela use her ability to throw her mother into the lake. But then the lake was destroy after Coyolxauqui boiled it. She use her powers to levitate everyone in the outer space. There Coyolxauqui unleashes her full power against the five, Isabela protect her friends as she taken damages.

-Valentino watch in horror as Isabela taken damages so he concentrate on himself until he transform into a full 'God' Mode and he tells Victor to do the same. And after he struggle and trying he manages to succeed, the two brothers were in front of Isabela as they face Coyolxauqui as she was dismay to see the brother facing her.

-A flashback show. the two brother in different ways that they live with different moms and a same dad. How they don't get along with each others they live differently. In the present, Valentino is telling Victor that he is glad to spend the summer with him, Victor is glad to have him as a brother. Then both of them combine their powers as they glow into a purple glowing orb. The Titizimimes and Coyolxauqui were in horror as they knew the vision is coming true. Isabela does nothing but look away as Coyolxauqui ask who are they. Both replies that they're brothers and they are family. They. lend out their powers which destroy Coyolxauqui and the Tizitmimes, the five celebrated.

-At Monte Macabre, the forever night began to shine with the bright light as the possess people were free from the Titzmimes. La Muertre and Xiabaibia return the remaining Monte Macabre citizens back home.

-Their Victor, Valentino, Isabela, Xochi and Charlene and Pineapple return home and back to their original forms. There they were greeted by everyone who praise them as heroes and Isabela was praise too. Xochi and Amabel embrace each other and kiss(With Don feeling happy for her) They were also greeted by a living Cristina and her family and also the Biker gang and Jenny. Cristina explained them that the gem allow them to be reborn a second chance living as Victor was about to hug Cristina, but only for Charlene to block them with her spell.

-Isabela look Valentino as they embrace each other. Valentino tells her that he forgave for her past action, and Isabela thank him for giving care and love as she explained that Paco and Jenny has adopt her to be her family.

-A few days later, Xochi and Amabel became wife and wife after they got married and Victor and Valentino's dad came to pick them up. Everyone went to say goodbye to the boys as they leave, Victor and Valentino said goodbye to the whole town and friends and they said that they're gonna come back next summer and everyone are happy for it. They wave a tearful good bye as Victor and Valentino left Monte Macabre.
